Welcome to the 25th AMBGC!

EMGSS (Experimental Medicine Graduate Student Society) is back with its highlight of the year! The 25th AMBGC will take place on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 at the SSMU building in the downtown campus of McGill University. This conference will showcase the research of various biomedical graduate students from 10 different categories. There will be oral student presentations and poster presentations throughout the day. We will also hear from our Keynote Speaker, Dr. John A. Copland, III who leads the Cancer Biology and Translational Research Laboratory at Mayo Clinic's campus in Florida. We will serve breakfast, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Graduate Biomedical Research happening at our various research institutions.

Abstract submission is now open for the 25th AMBGC (Annual McGill Biomedical Graduate Conference). AMBGC is the largest student-run biomedical conference at McGill and we are proud to offer another in-person conference in Montreal, free of charge on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025. Please fill out the following Google form to submit your abstract.

The deadline for abstract submission is February 14th at midnight. Only one abstract (first author) submission per student is allowed. Chosen abstracts will receive oral presentations. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and should be related to one of the following categories:

Clinical Therapeutics and Applications

EMGSS (Experimental Medicine Graduate Student Society) est de retour avec son événement phare de l'année ! Le 25e AMBGC aura lieu le mercredi 26 mars 2025 au bâtiment SSMU sur le campus du centre-ville de l'Université McGill. Cette conférence présentera les recherches de divers étudiants diplômés en biomédecine dans 10 catégories différentes. Il y aura des présentations orales d'étudiants et des présentations d'affiches tout au long de la journée. Nous entendrons également notre orateur principal, le Dr John A. Copland, III, qui dirige le laboratoire de biologie du cancer et de recherche translationnelle sur le campus de la clinique Mayo en Floride. Nous servirons le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner et des rafraîchissements tout au long de la journée. Il s'agit d'une excellente occasion d'en savoir plus sur la recherche biomédicale de haut niveau menée dans nos différents instituts de recherche.

AMBGC est la plus grande conférence biomédicale dirigée par des étudiants à McGill, et nous sommes fiers de proposer une autre conférence en personne à Montréal, gratuite le mercredi 26 mars 2025.
